Most travel guides focus on arriving at Siargao. But the departure transfer — General Luna back to Sayak Airport — is where things go wrong most often. Leave too late and you miss your flight. This guide gives you the exact numbers and the safest approach.
🛫 Book Your Departure Transfer Now
Book arrival and departure together — one WhatsApp message, both confirmed.
Private van, any flight: Leave 2 hours before departure. 45 min drive + 45–60 min check-in.
Shared shuttle, any flight: Leave 2.5–3 hours before departure. Add pickup collection time + stops.
Connecting flight (Cebu or Clark): Private van strongly recommended. A missed Siargao flight means a night stranded.
Early flights (before 9am): Private van. Shared shuttles have limited availability this early.
⚠️ The departure mistake most travelers make: At arrival you are the first stop. At departure you may be the last pickup — the shared van collects others first, then comes to you. Build in 30 min more than you think you need.
